The Commissioner’s Cup: Women’s Soccer

The women’s varsity soccer team defeated Bel Air 3-2, in overtime. The defensive line was key in the victory, with freshman goalie Kyleigh Waugh making big saves throughout the game. All three goals for JC were scored by sophomores. Nia Christopher had two goals and Katie Hormes had one. “Bel Air was really confident they were going to win, so it felt good to beat them on their own field,” sophomore Kayla Phillips said. The overtime victory was the third win in the Commissioner’s Cup.

JV women’s soccer tied Bel Air 2-2.
