Students receive donuts and water from teachers as they walk into school in celebration of Student Appreciation Day which took place during Catholic Schools Week on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Another day that was celebrated during the week was Teacher Appreciation Day where teachers received letters of appreciation written by students.

During the week of Jan. 30, seniors began their practice presentations for senior project. After the H-Day assembly, advisories came together and made fleece hats that benefit children with pediatric cancer. All supplies were provided by the Romero Club. Rehearsals for the spring musical “Shrek the Musical” are in full swing to prepare for the upcoming show on March 17. For Catholic Schools Week, teachers volunteered their morning to give out donuts and water to students as they walked into school to celebrate Student Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Finally, JC’s Music Department held their annual Cool Jazz Concert which featured the JC Jazz Ensemble and the Bel Air Community Jazz Band on Saturday, Feb 3.
