New members inducted into Foreign Language Honor Societies

The Spanish, French, German, Slavic, and Chinese Foreign Language Honor Societies all gained new members on Tuesday, March 12 during the induction ceremonies. In addition to the formal inductions, students who went on the Spanish exchange and students who went on the German exchange shared pictures and told stories of their experiences in other countries. In addition, President Rick O’Hara gave a brief speech on the importance of speaking a foreign language. A reception with refreshments was held after the ceremony was completed.
