A new Captain America? At the end of ‘Avengers Endgame,’ Steve Rodgers gave Sam Wilson the Captain America shield to take up the role of “America’s Hero.”

Following the events of Avengers Endgame, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, work together to defeat a life-threatening group of super soldiers, called the “Flag Smashers” in an action pack series called The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Marvel has released many movies and has multiple TV series, but The Falcon and The Winter Soldier sets itself apart from others.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, and Erin Kellyman as Karli Morgenthau.
Sam Wilson is given Captain America’s shield to take up the mantle of being the hero, and Sam gives this shield to the United States government.
Sam thinks that the shield would be put on display in a museum for people to come to see in-person; however, this is not how it goes.
When the U.S. government appoints their pick for the new Captain America, they choose John Walker, an established war hero.
Sam and Bucky are both shocked and angered at this development since the government has lied to them and not put the shield up for display; instead they gave it to John Walker.
Regardless, John Walker does not care about Sam and Bucky’s not liking him. John technically has authority over Sam and Bucky because he has been given the power by the federal government to do so. He tries to make friends with Sam and Bucky, but it is to no avail.
The antagonist of the series are the “Flag Smashers,” a group of super soldiers who are led by Karli Morgenthau.
They have stolen the 20 super soldier serums. Karli distributes some of the serums to top members. The rest of them are destroyed, except for one. John Walker slips the last remaining serum into a pocket in his suit.
John Walker loses his temper at an innocent man and kills him with the Captain America shield, stunning bystanders.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier goes through the events of a world without Captain America.
There is one season available with six episodes, all streaming on Disney+. This is an excellent story with many twists and turns that leaves the audience wanting to know what happens next.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is an excellent action-packed show for any Marvel fan.
