Imagine being in a hotel full of monsters, witches, and vampires. ‘Hotel Transylvania’ is a movie that premiered in 2012. Hotel Transylvania is a series of four movies that all follow the vampire Dracula and his daughter Mavis.

The original Hotel Transylvania is about how a human named Jonathan who accidentally finds a monster hotel (Hotel Transylvania). Jonathan ends up meeting Dracula’s daughter Mavis and falls in love with her. Dracula doesn’t approve because Jonathan is human. Dracula does everything in his power to separate them. However, he fails in the end.

Hotel Transylvania aired in 2012 and was written by Todd Durham and produced by Sony Pictures. Hotel Transylvania can be rented or purchased on the Google Play Store, Prime Video, Vudu and YouTube TV.

Because of the major success of Hotel Transylvania, the writers and producers produced three more movies, three short films, a flash-animated TV series, and several video games. The three movie sequels are Hotel Transylvania 2, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer, and Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. The television series is Hotel Transylvania: The Series.
