Valentine’s Day with Friends: An Activity List

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for loving a significant other. It could also be a day to hang out with your closest friends. If you don’t have an idea on what you would like to do with your friends on this special day, then here are some ideas for you.

Make Your Favorite Dessert: Make some of your favorite desserts with your friends. You can decorate desserts together with different color icings and accessories along with it. There are a variety of options, like chocolate covered strawberries, cake pops, and rice crispy treats.
Flower Picking: For a good outdoor activity, you and your friends can go to a field and see who can pick the best bouquet. Different flowers can result in many different colors, textures, and styles. It’s great to see your group’s personality, and everyone enjoying their time with one another.

Movie Night: Everyone can gather in their pajamas and sit on the couch. While you guys are getting comfy you guys can debate in order to pick any kind of movie, such as horror, romance, drama, or action. After eating your snacks, you can talk about what you liked and maybe watch another movie.

Bring Your Own Board: Everyone gets to pick a different theme for their charcuterie boards. This would be everybody’s meal for this night. There are many different things you can do like a smores board, a candy board, or even a sushi board. This party theme has become very popular on social media apps, and by attending, you can make your own TikTok, Instagram, or Snapchat post. This is a very different but cool thing to do during this holiday.

Make Your Own Candle: There are many places you can go and create a candle, or you can make a candle at home. All you need to do is pick the scent, color, and style that you want your perfect candle to be. Many people even like to put things inside their candles, and it is a very nice activity to do with others. It’s a very fun activity to do with your friends, and it involves creativity.

Gift Exchange: Start off by taking little pieces of paper and putting everyone’s names who’s participating on the slips. After your write down the names on the paper, fold them up then throw them into a bowl or bag. Everyone gets to pick one name, then that person will go shopping and buy a gift under the spending limit for the person whose name was on the paper.

Theme Party: With the plethora of activities provided, your friend group can end the night by dressing up for a Valentine’s Day theme party. There are many costume options such as cupids and different Valentine’s Day colors. For decorations, you can use balloons, backdrops, and have some fun music.
