Senior Adriana Guidi is a Perspectives Editor for The Patriot and jcpatriot.com. This is her second year on staff and third year taking journalism. Guidi was an Entertainment Editor last year and is excited to be on staff again this year. Outside of The Patriot, Guidi can be found shopping until she drops, playing outside with her two dogs Toby and Jeter, singing something from “Rent” or “Chicago,” and being a co-editor in chief of Vouge with her colleague Elizabeth Harmison. Students are overwhelming their schedules by taking as many honors and AP classes as possible, in order to be considered for the top colleges in the nation. It is important that students challenge themselves in honors and AP classes, but students need to find a balance in their classes, so they do not overwhelm themselves.
