Senior Kathy Deaver is the Online Chief for The Patriot and, and she is excited for her second year on staff and third year taking journalism. Deaver is the co-editor in chief for the Pinnacle, JC’s literary magazine and the co-captain of the Academic Team. Outside of The Patriot, Deaver’s favorite things in the world are flowers. Her favorite animal is a cat. Or maybe a frog. When she is not running around JC, Deaver enjoys making lists, playing badminton, reading, watching football, eating Oreos, singing Disney songs, and being taller than her siblings … for now.
