First fire drill introduces new changes

The first fire drill of the school year was held during advisory on Tuesday, Sept. 5. All students filed out of the school and lined up on the football field, as usual. In addition to the standard procedure, there were a few changes made to improve efficiency this year. Instead of a red folder containing their advisees’ emergency information, teachers now have a card with the same information that is easier to transport. This year, advisors also use their cellphones to text Dean of Student Services Brian Powell, once they have taken attendance on the field.
