Senior Kathy Deaver is the Online Chief for The Patriot and jcpatriot.com, and she is excited for her second year on staff and third year taking journalism. Deaver is the co-editor in chief for the Pinnacle, JC’s literary magazine and the co-captain of the Academic Team. Outside of The Patriot, Deaver’s favorite things in the world are flowers. Her favorite animal is a cat. Or maybe a frog. When she is not running around JC, Deaver enjoys making lists, playing badminton, reading, watching football, eating Oreos, singing Disney songs, and being taller than her siblings … for now.
