Maddie Root, Managing Editor
Maddie Root is a sophomore at John Carroll and is the Managing Editor of The Patriot. This is her second year on the staff. In addition to working on the newspaper, Maddie plays soccer and runs track and field for John Carroll. When she's not playing sports or working on the newspaper, she likes to play with her dogs, read books, and watch movies with her family.
